STAGE 1 REMAP Stage 1 tuning offers a range of benefits for vehicle owners seeking improved performance without compromising reliability. This entry-level upgrade typically involves recalibrating the engine control unit (ECU) to optimize parameters such as fuel delivery, ignition timing, and turbo boost (if applicable), all within the safe limits of the stock components. Because Stage 1 tuning does not require any physical modifications to the engine or exhaust system, it is a cost-effective and easily reversible way to boost performance while maintaining factory safety margins and emissions compliance in many cases. EGR SOLUTIONS We can blank or remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve without the limp mode error fault being triggered. This can help eliminate recurrent problems arising from a problematic EGR valve. REV LIMITER REMOVAL At our ficilities in Albox, Almeria, we can improve an engine’s throttle response – and therefore the car’s on-road performance – by increasing the rev limiter. It means, effectively, that with each change-up of gears the revs will be higher. DPF SOLUTIONS We can remove Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) from any vehicle, but – in line with UK and European regulations – that vehicle can then only be used off-road.
